The New Mexico Artisans Market in Albuquerque
There’s nothing I love more than finding swoon-worthy artisanal products, and one of my favorite sources is the New Mexico Artisans Market in Albuquerque.
This three-day event is held annually on the weekend after Thanksgiving. It’s an absolute must if you want to support the artisans that preserve our Southwestern culture and find truly original holiday gifts that are sure to impress.
Though hundreds of artisans apply for the event, a jury of New Mexico taste-makers and creative influencers whittled the number down to 130 individuals that that are truly exceptional in their creative fields.
You’ll find jewelry, pottery, fashion, home goods, specialty foods, bath and body products, leather goods, and so much more!
There’s a lot to see, and the artisans are friendly and happy to discuss their work. It’s best to plan for at least one full day at the market.
Curious to know if it’s really worth it? (It IS!)
Along with Shoofly 505 Jewelry (above), here are more New Mexico artisans that will make you swoon!
The New Mexico Artisans Market definitely has enough variety to find a gift for everyone on your list. Plus, Albuquerque makes for a fantastic late-autumn road trip!
